Magazines

Magazines are print (not digital) unless otherwise noted.

Some magazines are shallow, some are deep. Some are ad-focused, some are content-focused. Some have relevent ads, some don’t. Those factors make a huge difference in the value of a magazine! This first list of magazines have the following three characteristics (to the best of my knowledge):

#1 The content is deep and useful

#2 The content is more promonent than the advertisements

#3 The advertisements are relevent to the content and readership.

Fine Gardening ~ quality gardening magazine.

Sew Beautiful ~ fine, heirloom sewing.

Seasons at HomeNew! “Our magazine is for the entire family!  A God honoring magazine, you’ll find a variety of different topics that alternate from Titus 2 fellowship, sewing, whole grain baking and cooking, themed teas, homeschooling, sections for father/son by the Wise Guy, John
Powers and more!”

Also publishes the Joyous Home Journal a digital magazine~ “The Joyous Home Journal has many lovely and fun things our magazine
has.  Each issue will feature a variety from some of our most loved homemaking skills:  Sewing, quilting, baking with whole grains,
themed teas, projects for father and son, articles of encouragement, homeschooling and more.

Other magazines which don’t meet the criteria above but which may still be useful (a lot of home/decorating magazines are good for getting decorating ideas!).
